DUYGU DEMİR

Türkiye’de Sanatlar Sentezi

Duygu Demir’s research project Art Synthesis in Turkey, which aims to research Turkey’s artist-architect collaborations dating back to 1970’s from the 1950’s and to find and document the remaining works from this period, is among the projects that received FSAF’s 2017-2018 2nd term support. In the course of the one year long project, Demir together with artist-photographer Bahar Yürükoğlu, aim to document in their current state the buildings and artworks from a period key to Turkey's modern history, to immortalize their stories before getting lost and to remember and remind them.
